Preserving the future
of the Amazon Rainforest
OUR VISION
Empowering the future of the Amazon rainforest through:
- EDUCATION
- CULTURAL PRESERVATION
- SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Our mission is to provide language and sports education to children living in the Amazon rainforest, while also working on projects that promote reforestation, combat erosion as well as implementing solar- and wind-based power supply in order to create a sustainable future for the communities and their environment.
Additionally, we seek to protect the unique and diverse wildlife of the Amazon by actively working towards preserving their habitats and raising awareness about the importance of conservation. To achieve our goals, we are working closely together with native people onsite who are supporting our vision, helping us to understand the problems and solving them together.
At the end – a recovered piece of nature and a well informed new generation will make a difference.

Freezer for Indigenous Family – 231031 (Vila Jose)
In September and October 2023, the Amazon Rainforest experienced a once-in-a-century drought. This caused the Rio Negro to recede by over 15 meters, leading to a humanitarian crisis that persisted for roughly 10 weeks. Residents along the Rio Negro struggled to reach the city for essential supplies, and many even lost access to fresh water. The “Jose” indigenous family, living remotely from the nearest community, lacked the means to store or refrigerate food such as fish, chicken, or meat. To access fresh cold water, they had to trek 5 km through the forest and an expansive, sun-baked riverbed. Recognizing their
Solar Installation Support – 231023 (Lightning Strike)
The indigenous family of Jose has two solar installation (600W and 1800W) whereas our association already provided spare equipment after their original all-in-one devices stopped working. During a thunderstorm on 21st to 22nd a lightning strike nearby the solar installation of the family (near Sao Joao) destroyed the inverter unit. Luckily Jose had kept one of the former broken all-in-one devices on which only the solar-controller-unit does not work. We connected the broken inverter-unit with the inverter-unit of their old all-in-one device. Now, we have a solar-controller-unit in combination with the working parts of an old all-in-one device and family
Organization of Food Distribution – 231020 (UniNorte)
The students of the “Curso de Educação Física da UniNorte” in Manaus, lead by the professors GLEISER BARBOSA e ESTELA MONEGO, have donated 76 cans of milk powder (each weighing 400-500 grams) for distribution among the indigenous people and the Riberinhos in the area, all of whom are grappling with the unprecedented effects of the 2023 dry season. Our association traveled to the city to collect the donation and deliver it to the people in the forest village Sao Joao (RDS Tupe). The mission was carried out on 20th October 2023. Umussy, the director of the association, and her sister Miriam,
