Preserving the future
of the Amazon Rainforest
OUR VISION
Empowering the future of the Amazon rainforest through:
- EDUCATION
- CULTURAL PRESERVATION
- SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Our mission is to provide language and sports education to children living in the Amazon rainforest, while also working on projects that promote reforestation, combat erosion as well as implementing solar- and wind-based power supply in order to create a sustainable future for the communities and their environment.
Additionally, we seek to protect the unique and diverse wildlife of the Amazon by actively working towards preserving their habitats and raising awareness about the importance of conservation. To achieve our goals, we are working closely together with native people onsite who are supporting our vision, helping us to understand the problems and solving them together.
At the end – a recovered piece of nature and a well informed new generation will make a difference.

Secretario do Meio Ambiente – 231130 (Food Donation)
Today, November 30th, 2023, the Secretary of Environment, under the leadership of Wilson Lima, the current governor of Amazonas, sent 40 food rations (each weighing 18 kg) to the Sao Joao community (RDS Tupe). Our association, Crocodilo & Piranha, organized the last-mile distribution of these goods to those in need. This last-mile effort, in addition to the donation itself, is a crucial part of the distribution process, ensuring a smooth and equitable delivery to the people who need it most.
Capoeira for Kids – 231126 (4 new indigenous students)
Today, November 26th, 2023, we enjoyed another amazing Sunday here in the rainforest. Despite the challenges in the Amazon rainforest, our group visited the indigenous Dessana village for an early breakfast. It was a diverse gathering of Riberinhos, Indigenous people, Europeans, and city dwellers, all celebrating the start of a great day together. Four new students from the Tuyuka tribe joined us for the first time for breakfast, training, and leisure activities before lunch. They integrated seamlessly and had a lot of fun. Next Sunday, we expect six of them to join our Capoeira lessons.
UniNorte Prof. Gleiser and Students – 231124 (Food Donation)
Today, on November 24th, 2023, Professor Gleiser and his students from UniNorte’s Physical Education department donated 298 units of food to the people in our village. Our association collected the donation in the city of Manaus, added an additional 85 units of food, and organized the transportation to Tupe, including distributing the food to the locals. Thanks to the efforts of Gleiser, Wilson, Umussy, and Christian, the organization and distribution went as planned, and we witnessed many happy faces on the beach. Special thanks to Wilson for providing his car to transport the supplies, to Umussy and Miriam for financing
