Today, on Sunday, a team of doctors from Institute Manaos (@manaosgrupo (Instagram)) visited the indigenous tribe Dessana located 3 km away from our village to provide health services in the areas of dentistry, gynecology, and physiotherapy. Upon our Association’s request, @Manaosgrupo kindly agreed to also attend our group “Capoeira for Kids” for treatment treatment. Subsequently, we gathered all the kids and transported them by boat to the location in the middle of the jungle.
The doctors came fully equipped with everything necessary, from anesthesia to the typical tools found in a dentist’s office. Additionally, they brought along food supplies and even had some musicians join them. We invite you to take a look at the photos showcasing this incredible initiative.
