Our language lessons are now up and running, thanks to the support of our volunteer, Josie (21), from Germany. She assists us in creating worksheets for intuitive language learning. These lessons are not meant to replace any classic learning approaches or any professional teaching classes available. Our aim is to give both children and adults in the village a head start in English, German, and Spanish.
Josie now conducts language lessons daily for about 90 minutes, and both children and adults eagerly participate. Initially, I was unsure if offering lessons daily might be excessive, but the opposite has proven true: students attend with enthusiasm. Many have seized the opportunity to practice with us, exploring various language apps, which is a fantastic approach. Intuitive direct lessons, coupled with app-based learning and eventually video-based learning, bring out the best in each student.
