Today, on November 24th, 2023, Professor Gleiser and his students from UniNorte’s Physical Education department donated 298 units of food to the people in our village. Our association collected the donation in the city of Manaus, added an additional 85 units of food, and organized the transportation to Tupe, including distributing the food to the locals.
Thanks to the efforts of Gleiser, Wilson, Umussy, and Christian, the organization and distribution went as planned, and we witnessed many happy faces on the beach. Special thanks to Wilson for providing his car to transport the supplies, to Umussy and Miriam for financing the additional food and coordinating the local effort, and of course, to all our students who contributed to the food supply.
