Solar Installation Support – 231023 (Lightning Strike)

The indigenous family of Jose has two solar installation (600W and 1800W) whereas our association already provided spare equipment after their original all-in-one devices stopped working.
During a thunderstorm on 21st to 22nd a lightning strike nearby the solar installation of the family (near Sao Joao) destroyed the inverter unit. Luckily Jose had kept one of the former broken all-in-one devices on which only the solar-controller-unit does not work. We connected the broken inverter-unit with the inverter-unit of their old all-in-one device.
Now, we have a solar-controller-unit in combination with the working parts of an old all-in-one device and family is having their energy back.
It was a small task and a matter of 50 Minutes walking through the jungle and 15 minutes installation instead of waiting weeks if not months for a solution using the common way of maintenance.
