Today, on Sunday, a large team of doctors from @manaosgrupo (Instagram) visited an indigenous tribe located 3 km away from our village to provide health services in the areas of dentistry, gynecology, and physiotherapy. Upon our Association’s request, @Manaosgrupo kindly agreed to also attend our “Capoeira for Kids” event as part of the treatment. Subsequently, we gathered all the kids and transported them by boat to the treatment location, which happened to be in the heart of the Amazonas jungle.
The doctors came fully equipped with everything necessary, from anesthesia to the typical tools found in a dentist’s office. Additionally, they brought along food supplies and even had some musicians join them. We invite you to take a look at the photos showcasing this incredible initiative.
