Three children from our village (Luna, Naomi, and Eloiza) have taken the initiative, without any influence from adults or incentives other than the desire to make a positive impact, to collect waste from the beach. In just a little over 60 minutes of focused efforts, they managed to fill two bags with trash. We have nothing but admiration for these kids’ dedication to protecting our environment. Who knows, their actions might inspire others to join in and help getting removed some more of the waste.
